
Naras Eechambadi is part of a new series in the Sunday MoneyWise section of the Charlotte Observer. A new column, called “In Closing…” each week will highlight something new about “sales.” Five Charlotte-region experts will rotate the columns.
Everyone sells something, whether it’s a product, a service or even ideas in the everyday workplace. The column will take questions from readers or use the columnists’ personal experiences to teach the arts of persuasion, influence, organization, communication and skill-building.
Here are all the team-members in the column. Their nicknames reflect their specific skills:
“The Futurist”: Denny Clark of ExecuQuest, a talent acquisition firm, provides recruitment search and research services, search team training, competitive intelligence and performance advising to domestic and international corporations.
“The Analyzer”: Naras Eechambadi, CEO of Quaero, a Charlotte-based firm, accelerates market performance of companies by improving the way customer data is examined, understood and employed. Every piece of data is a part of a whole picture, and the way we look at the pieces helps people understand the big picture.
“The Professor”: Tom Stevenson has B2B sales experience and 30 years of sales and marketing education which has trained more than 5,000 students at UNC Charlotte. Dr. Stevenson is author or coauthor of more than 100 articles and papers on marketing and sales and he consults in B2B marketing and sales.
“The Corporate Pro”: Sherry Sutton, president of Think2Profit, improves executives’ personal and professional development. Sherry’s background in sales was forged in national and worldwide product lines for major firms.
“The Organizer”: Carson Tate is president of Working Simply, an expert organizing firm that keeps professionals up-to-date, in control and “open for business.” Carson helps people find peace of mind, and, by the way, the top of their desks. Her clients learn how to improve the way they operate on a daily basis.
